Discover the benefits of addressable fire alarm systems

Conventional Fire Systems

These systems are installed in shops, smaller offices and similar premises. They are zoned systems that allow the identification of an area of a building where a fire or fault signal is generated. These systems are good value for money and are easily installed by our expert engineers.

Analogue Addressable Systems

These are sophisticated systems that allows the individual device that has caused a fault or fire signal to be displayed on the control panel. These systems use loops onto which the detectors, call points, input/output devices, sounders and other devices are installed. Each loop can then be divided into a number of zones as required by the software, allowing a rapid and targeted response to any potential fire.

Each control panel can have up to 4 loops and up to 16 control panels can be networked together – this would enable over 8000 devices to be fitted to the installation!

The addressable fire detection system option is ideal for large office blocks and similar properties.

HMO (Houses in Multiple Occupation) fire alarm systems

Houses in Multiple Occupation frequently require a “mixed system”. This usually requires a conventional type installation to cover the common areas and to extend into each flat entrance hall. Each flat is then fitted with a lower specification mains powered, interlinked smoke/heat alarm system to comply with BS5839 Part 6 Type LD2 Grade D.

Millennium Fire Protection have installed numerous such systems for private landlords with specifications from councils such as Harrow, Hillingdon, Brent, Islington, Camden, Westminster and many more.
