Emergency lighting

Emergency lighting is provided to give illumination of the escape routes, fire exits and other features in times of power failure. This may, or may not be, as a result of a fire.

Millennium Fire Protection stocks a range of emergency light fittings and emergency lighting products. In addition, we can provide you with an emergency lighting log book.

Ensure your emergency lighting can always be relied upon

Emergency lighting systems require regular testing and maintenance in accordance with BS5266 Part 1 to ensure reliability and integrity. Some installations have automatic test facilities but many rely on manual testing. There are also two types of emergency lighting system – self contained emergency luminaries that have an internal battery and central battery systems that use slave luminaries. Please contact us for more information on service and maintenance.

Installation

Millennium Fire Protection can install an emergency lighting system to suit your particular requirements; there are various options of luminaries from standard bulkhead fittings, internally illuminated exit signs and twin spotlights, through to more lavish crystal effect and brass, chrome or white finished lights. Many of these are available as non-maintained, maintained or combined type units. There is also a range of LED illuminated emergency lights that are extremely efficient and have a long life span. Please call for further information or a quote.
